Notes:
This was another learning experience. One that failed, sort of.
I started off making this blanket by crocheting two strands of yarn in rows. I had the
light green (juniper), the purple (deep violet), and the variegated, and I swapped
yarns in and out. It was a neat effect. Very pretty.
The problem was that it really wasn't portable, and I wasn't working on it enough.
(I was working on it more than the ripple crochet blanket, but still, it wasn't enough.)
So I reassessed, redesigned, and ripped out. (Rolling the ripped-out stuff into balls...
Now that was an experience!)
I started again, this time making squares.
And I needed more yarn. For some reason, the local shop was out of the light green, and
I really wanted to get this thing done. So I bought the dark green.
It works well enough, I think.
(But it would have been really cool if I'd been able to finish that lovely, fluffy,
snuggly q-hook blanket.)
