Completed June 2005. Donated to nursing home, 7 June 2005.
Notes:
This blanket taught me two things.
First, it's easier to get a balanced looking pattern when the dimension are both odd (as 7 by 11), or both even (as 6 by 10). When one is odd and one is even, it's trickier. Which is why I went for simple diagonal rows.
Second, once my squares get up to 8 rounds, they start to ruffle enough to bother me. 7 rounds and below, no problem. Any ruffling is within the range of acceptable. But 8 rounds seems to be the tipping point. I'll need to swatch if I ever need to make 8-or-more-round squares again.
